FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
CCFE:
First and foremost for employees from banks and asset management companies who want to deal with the topic of “crypto banking” in more depth. The interest often comes from employees from the customer front. In principle, however, any person who is interested in the topic is admitted.
CCFE Refresher:
For CCFE graduates (physical or digital)
CCFE:
You don’t need any previous knowledge of crypto and blockchain. Basic knowledge of financial markets and asset management is an advantage.
CCFE Refresher:
The basic knowledge from the CCFE is required.
CCFE:
You pay 2500 CHF for the CCFE original (physical presence) and 950 CHF for the CCFE online (100% remote & digital).
CCFE Refresher:
This amounts to 950 CHF. The amount must be paid 30 days before the start of the course.
The course fees include learning material (electronic / provided in a Google classroom) and drinks. Travel expenses and individual lunch meals are not included.
CCFE:
Any person from the financial sector and/or from finance-related companies who has an interest in further training in these areas.
CCFE Refresher:
CCFE graduates who have passed the CCFE exam and certificate.
A SAQ certification ensures that the knowledge and competence of the bank advice correspond to the current status. Due to constantly changing customer needs and regulatory requirements, the certificates must be renewed every three years through recertification. Both the basic certification and the recertification can be obtained through the CCFE, whereby an additional examination is required for the basic certification. The costs for this additional test are not included in the price.
In order to maintain the validity of your SAQ certification - which you have already completed in the form of an initial certification, e.g. as a Certified Wealth Management Advisor (CWMA) - a recertification needs to take place.
The SAQ certification Certified Crypto Finance Expert SAQ is primarily aimed at employees from the financial industry who want to deal with the topic of crypto banking in more detail and answer their customers' questions competently.
In principle, however, this training is suitable for anyone who would like to expand their knowledge of cryptocurrencies and how they work.
At the time of recertification in another territory, you must be employed by a bank; have a customer book or be involved in it or work independently as a specialist for customers and are in direct contact with them. All detailed information can be viewed at the SAQ.
CCFE:
In order to achieve the certificate “Certified Crypto Finance Expert” and the “Recertification SAQ”, you must pass an internal multiple choice test after the course.
To earn the Certified Crypto Finance Expert SAQ certification, you must book and pass an additional exam. This is handled directly via the SAQ.
CCFE Refresher:
There will be no audit. However, you will receive a course confirmation after completion.
Yes, the course is open to everyone! You can attend this training course without recertification and still receive the “Certified Crypto Finance Expert” certificate.
CCFE:
The performances will take place in German and also in English. However, basic English skills are also required for the German course.
CCFE Refresher:
The Refresher course will be held in German.

You will receive a confirmation of participation.
The official certifying institution is CCFE, a financial services company that has been operating successfully on the market for over 10 years. The consortium also consists of the consulting boutique Bravis GmbH, which advises banks on topics related to crypto & blockchain, the HWZ (Zurich School of Economics) as an Academy Partner, Finance 2.0 as a Knowledge Partner, and the SAQ (Swiss Quality Association) as a recognized partner Institution in the field of personal certification.
CCFE:
Physical: Classes take place in the city of Zurich and in Zug. All locations are listed in the timetable.
Online: Online lessons take place in self-study. In addition, there are 4-5 digital sessions with experts, which are carried out via zoom and last about an hour.
CCFE Refresher:
The refresher takes place in Zurich.
CCFE:
The following times apply to the physical execution. The online course is self-paced with 4 to 5 zoom sessions. The dates will be communicated in good time.
First day (Wednesday): 10.00 to 17:30
Second day (Thursday): 08.15 to 18.00
Third day (Friday): 08.15 to 17.00

Yes. In advance, you will receive various information about self-study. These serve as preparation for lessons. The effort for self-study is around four hours.
CCFE Refresher:
There are no preparatory tasks as we require the CCFE.
